Norman's National Night Out

Tue, 08/06/2019 - 5:30pm - 8:30pm

Join the Norman Police Department in celebrating community and fellowship during Norman's National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

In addition to neighborhood events, a community-wide event will be held at the Norman Police Department, 201 W. Gray Street. Sponsored by AT&T and Academy Sports, the event will feature crime prevention information, a food truck, free ice cream from Highland Dairy, bounce houses, kid-friendly activities, and first responder vehicles for residents and children to explore.

National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Each year, we have over 50 events hosted by neighborhoods across Norman. NPD Officers, NFD Firefighters, Norman City Council Members, and the Mayor all take part in the night attending various community events.

Community members or neighborhoods wishing to hold an event in conjunction with Norman's National Night Out should contact Sgt. Jeffrey Casillas at 405-366-5267 or by email at

We wanted to provide you with this information well in advance so that you have plenty of time to plan your events this year! We look forward to seeing you all on August 6!No photo description available.
