Job Description
Restroom cleaning and trash cleanup will be the main duties and responsibilities. Work in general park maintenance areas including but not limited to: athletic field maintenance, small mowing crews, playground repair, flowerbed maintenance, and forestry work. Other duties and maintenance responsibilities will depend on the weather.
Working Conditions: 
Position may include any or all of the following: Much of the work is performed in inclement weather and during all seasons. Some work is performed in confined areas, on slick and wet surfaces. Employees are exposed to vibrations, loud continuous noise, offensive smells, dust, dirt, and water. Exposed to injury from moving equipment, insect bites, poisonous plants, flying objects, slippery surfaces, and hazardous materials. Must have strength to pull, lift, push 50 pound objects on a frequent basis and up to 75 pounds (such as a bag of cement) on an infrequent basis; flexibility to bend, twist, and reach; mobility to climb, crawl, and walk; dexterity to operate machinery and tools on uneven surfaces, etc.; and stamina to exert self throughout the day in all weather conditions. Ability to maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience: 
Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to be polite and informative with children and citizens that are utilizing the park where they are working. Ability to drive a pickup with care, they will be working in areas where children are playing. Ability to perform general maintenance work. Ability to work in extreme heat. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
License and/or Certification: 
Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
Additional Information: 

Applicant must have home telephone or message number where applicant may be reached. Selected applicant must pass physical examination, drug screen, and background investigation. Work Period:One position to work 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to start then summer hours might shift to 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. One position to work 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to start then summer hours might shift to 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Both will work 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday and will be required to work holidays and special events as needed.
