Are you a photographer with a passion for Norman's natural wonders? Norman Parks and Recreation invites you to be a part of our 2024 calendar by showcasing your talent!
Theme: "Norman Parks"
Deadline: October 31, 2024, at 11:59 P.M.
This contest is open to all artists and photographers, whether you're an amateur or a pro. Each entrant can submit up to three (3) photographs, but only one (1) photograph per winner will be selected for the calendar.
**Entry Terms and Conditions:**
1. Capture or choose a photograph that encapsulates the essence of "Norman Parks" and add a brief written description.
2. Post your photo with the written DESCRIPTION on this event page.
3. Don't have Facebook access? No problem! Email your photograph to parksrec@normanok.gov.
Please ensure that the photos you submit are your original work and have not been published commercially before.
**Contest Prizes:** Depending on the final calendar design, NPR will select a minimum of twelve (12) and a maximum of fifteen (15) winners. Each winner will have their submission featured in the NPR 2024. Winners will receive $100 for an entry representing a month in the calendar picture, and one lucky person will receive $250 if their entry makes the cover!
**Photograph Specifications:** If your photo is chosen, it must be in digital format, ranging from 8 to 20 megapixels (minimum 2550 x 3300 pixels). We won't accept print submissions, so keep it digital! Your photographs should be high resolution (300dpi - 600dpi) .tif or .jpg. Feel free to use digital camera shots or scans of negatives/transparencies. Any photos not meeting these specs will be disqualified.
**Permission to Use Entry Photography:** By entering the contest, you grant NPR permission to publish your captioned photograph in the NPR 2025 calendar and use it for various purposes in perpetuity. Your talent deserves recognition!
**Limitations of Liability:** We want this contest to be a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Entrants release NPR and its associates from any liability related to the contest.
