Join the Norman Police Department in celebrating community and fellowship during Norman's National Night Out on Monday, October 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. The event was postponed to this date due to the possibility of severe weather. 

In addition to neighborhood events, a community-wide event will be held at the northeast corner of the Sooner Mall parking lot near Safety Town. The event will feature crime prevention information, food trucks, kid-friendly activities, and first responder vehicles for residents and children to explore.

National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.

Each year, we have over 50 events hosted by neighborhoods across Norman. NPD Officers, NFD Firefighters, Norman City Council Members, and the Mayor all take part in the night attending various community events.

Community members or neighborhoods wishing to hold an event in conjunction with Norman's National Night Out should complete a registration form by October 1. Anyone with questions can contact Sgt. Casillas by email at Jeffrey.Casillas@NormanOK.gov.
