The Norman Juneteenth Committee, in collaboration with the City of Norman Parks & Recreation Department, invites all to celebrate freedom and community at the fourth Annual Norman Juneteenth Festival. The festivities will kick off at 6 p.m. 6/19/24 at Reaves Park, 2501 Jenkins Avenue, in Norman.

A warm welcome will be followed by words from JC Watts and Dr. Karlos Hill at the top of the festival. Live performances are slated to begin at 6:45 p.m. and performers include: Nia Moné, a singer/songwriter from OKC with influences from LoFi, Jazz, and RnB; Vearl T., a saxophonist from Tulsa specializing in Smooth Jazz, R&B, Neo Soul, Blues, Pop, and Gospel. The night will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m.

This family-friendly event promises a night filled with joy and unity. In addition to live entertainment and an impressive fireworks display, festival goers can enjoy a variety of vendors, games, food trucks and educational activities.
