UPDATE, 3:40 PM 6/25/24: BNSF reports to the City of Norman that sufficient repairs have been made to this area of railway. Both lanes of travel at Acres Street have now been reopened for the travelling public.

Posted 3:15 PM 6/24/24: Acres Street between Jones and James Garner has been closed due to a railroad panel issue. Railroad operator BNSF has been contacted about this issue. This area will remain closed until proper repairs can be made by the railroad operator. BNSF can be contacted at 1-800-832-5452 regarding questions or concerns.

A detour route will be in place to help guide the travelling public.
