Sanitation Division

The Sanitation Division will remain on the regular schedule on Monday, September 6. Sanitation services, including residential, commercial, recycling and yard waste will collect as normal on Monday.

The Compost facility and the Transfer Station will be open regular hours on Monday. 

• The Compost Facility located at 398 Bratcher Miner Road is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
• The Transfer Station located at 3901 S. Chautauqua, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Transit

The City transit service – EMBARK Norman – will not operate on Monday, September 6. Find schedule and real-time information at www.embarknorman.com.

 

Parks and Recreation

All Recreation and Community Centers are closed on Monday, September 6, including the Senior Center and the Little Axe Community Center.

Westwood will also be open regular business hours on Monday. 

• The Westwood Golf Course located at 2400 Westport Drive will be open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Website info here.
• The Westwood Tennis Center located at 2420 Westport Drive will be open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Website info here.
