The City of Norman will host a “Par-Tee Like It’s the ’80s” Golf Tournament, an 18-hole charitable scramble for four-person teams, on September 27 at 9 a.m. The event will take place at the Westwood Golf Course, located at 2400 Westport Drive, and all proceeds will benefit the United Way of Norman.
Online registration is now open, and sponsorship opportunities are still available.
“This tournament is not just about golf, it’s about giving back to a community that truly cares for its own,” said City Manager Darrel Pyle. “The funds raised will help ensure that the United Way of Norman continues to support the many individuals and families who rely on its services.”
The cost to participate is $100 per person or $400 per foursome. The entry fee includes green fees, a cart, a range ball token, a T-shirt, a swag bag, and breakfast and lunch. There will also be a raffle with exciting prizes.
