Runners can get an early start on their St. Patrick’s Day festivities by registering today to be part of the City of Norman’s Shamrock Off-Road 5k and 1 mile Fun Run. The race starts and ends at Ruby Grant Park, 3110 W. Franklin Road, on 3/4/23 and participants may begin at 1 p.m. This dog-friendly race is being organized for its second year at Ruby Grant, where the off-road route creates a challenging and fun race for both beginner and experienced runners. The fun and unique event saw over 100 participants last year, with many wearing green in recognition and celebration of Irish heritage.

The cost to register is $30 or $22 for a timed or untimed 5k; the 1 Mile Course is free to run for fun!

• The $30 fee includes a complimentary green beer at the finish line, a medal, a T-shirt, and a timing chip.
• The $22 fee includes a complimentary green beer at the finish line, a T-shirt, and a medal.

Registration will stay open until the race begins. Those registering prior to 2/23/23 will be guaranteed a shirt and medal. Age identification is required to receive complimentary beer.
