UPDATE, 8:52 PM: Festival coordinators continue to monitor weather and now expect to resume festivities around 9:15 PM.

UPDATE, 7:48 PM: Due to lightning in area, there has been another event delay. By announcement on site, festival coordinators have requested those in attendance shelter in place. Festivities are expected to resume around 8:15 PM or when the area is deemed safe to do so.

 

POSTED 7/4/24, 4:18 PM:

Due to anticipated storms in the forecast, the start time of NFourth Fest has been pushed from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM today 7/4/24. Activities, food trucks and other festivities will not open until 7:00 PM. The public is not advised to enter Reaves Park until the start time of the event; the public is advised to stay weather aware and take appropriate precautions independently during any severe weather.

At this time, the fireworks display is still expected to occur at 9:45 PM. Festival coordinators remain in close contact with community partners at the National Weather Service while making event decisions.

The safety of residents and visitors remains the topmost priority of the City of Norman. Any further updates or changes regarding NFourth Fest festivities will continue to be posted to this webpage and shared to City of Norman social media platforms.
