Legacy Concerts kick off with a bang this Spring at Legacy Park

Catch the fun at 1898 Legacy Park Drive in University North Park

Legacy Park's concert season is set to kick off with a bang, as the Legacy Park Activities Committee presents the 2023 @Legacy Concert Series. This exciting outdoor event will take place at Legacy Park, located in the heart of University North Park, a favorite picnic and dog-walking spot in Norman, Oklahoma.

The @Legacy Concert Series is a partnership between Legacy Park Activities Committee and The Deli, which aims to showcase the talents of local musicians while providing the community with an enjoyable outdoor experience. The first two concerts scheduled in the lineup are set to take place at 7 p.m. on April 21 and May 19.

On April 21, concert-goers can expect an electrifying performance from Mad Honey and Keathley. Mad Honey, a local rock band, will bring their high-energy sound to the stage while Keathley, a talented singer-songwriter, will serenade the audience with his soulful voice.

The concert on May 19 will feature the musical stylings of Beau Jennings & The Tigers and Kyle Reid & The Low Swingin' Chariots. Beau Jennings, a renowned singer-songwriter, will be accompanied by his talented band, The Tigers, to deliver an unforgettable performance. Kyle Reid & The Low Swingin' Chariots, a local swing and jazz band, will take the stage to get the audience up and dancing.

These concerts are free to the public, and attendees can also enjoy local food and beer vendors that will be on-site. The park's picturesque setting provides the perfect backdrop for an enjoyable evening of music and community.
