Norman Police Investigate Overnight Shooting

The Norman Police Department (NPD) responded to a report of shots fired in the 3000 block of Oak Tree Avenue at approximately 3:58AM on June 10. 

While responding to the scene, dispatch began receiving calls from individuals stating they were victims of the shooting. Two individuals were transported for injuries sustained during the shooting and remain in stable condition. A third individual refused medical treatment at the scene.

Two arrests have been made in connection to the shooting. A 17-year-old male was arrested on the following complaints: Assault with a Deadly Weapon (3 counts), Possession of a Firearm after Felony Conviction, and Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute. An 18-year-old male, Aiden Wilson, was arrested on the following complaints: Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Firearm while in commission of a Felony. Both will be booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center. 

The incident remains under investigation.
