The Norman Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of Asp Avenue at 11:29 p.m. Thursday. Once on scene, officers located one victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital.

Officers responding to the area were able to quickly locate the suspect vehicle as it left the scene. A traffic stop was completed on the vehicle at 11:32 p.m. in the area of Apache Street and Santa Fe Avenue. Four individuals were taken into custody. No additional suspects are outstanding at this time. 

The incident remains under investigation.
