The City of Norman has received information that an Oklahoma Department of Transportation contractor will soon be performing bridge maintenance to the surface of the Main Street bridge. To accommodate for work, all on and off ramps to and from Main Street at the Interstate 35 interchange will be closed nightly from 7 PM to 6 AM beginning 7/22/24 and wrapping up the morning of 7/26/24. Closures and work progress will be dependent on weather. Also during this time, there will be intermittent lane closures on Main Street across the bridge. Motorists may consider using an alternative route.
