The City of Norman and the Norman Regional Health System have partnered to operate a COVID-19 vaccination site at Irving Recreation Center, located at 125 Vicksburg Ave, in Norman on Saturday, March 20.

The community center site will offer Pfzier vaccinations by appointment only from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Appointments are open to Norman residents who qualify for Phase 1 through Phase 3 of the State’s vaccination rollout plan. Public health officials strongly advise everyone to continue to take steps to limit the spread of the virus and reduce strain on our health care systems. These actions include: staying home as much as possible, wearing a mask when leaving home, limiting interactions with those outside your immediate household, keeping a physical distance of at least six feet apart, washing hands frequently, and getting the COVID-19 vaccine when you are eligible.
