UPDATE, Posted 8/12/22:  As part of the Phase II Porter Avenue Waterline Replacement Project, contractors intend to close approximately 900 feet of the outside, southbound lane on Porter Avenue just north of Robinson Street starting on 8/15/22 for approximately three weeks. Drivers are advised to travel with caution in the area and adhere to all signage placed.

Cimarron Waterworks, the contractor, is replacing existing water lines along Porter Avenue in two sections, one section from Alameda to Main Street and one from Rich Street to Robinson Street. This project will install new 8- and 12-inch waterlines to replace existing lines.

Due to material issues and unforeseen circumstances in the field, the expected completion time of this project is now September 2022.

Posted 6/2/22: As part of the Phase II Porter Avenue Waterline Replacement Project, ongoing and intermittent lane closures will continue as work is carried out in locations along Porter Avenue from Alameda Street to Robinson Street. Project work is expected to be completed in July 2022.
