INITIAL RELEASE: NPD Searches for Three Children for Welfare Check
The Norman Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance to locate three children, 7-year-old Lane Grigsby, 7-year-old Levi Grigsby and 1-year-old Lillian Grigsby, for a welfare check.
The children were last seen in the 200 block of E. Vida Way on January 10, and are believed to be in the custody of their mother, 27-year-old Megan Grigsby. The report was made to NPD Thursday morning. Due to a recent emergency court order, Grigsby does not currently have custodial rights to the three children. The children could be in danger due to Grigsby’s history of behavior.
Grigsby is believed to be driving a white 2012 Chevy Cruz bearing Oklahoma License Plate KAU036. Officers have information that she and the children could have traveled outside of the Oklahoma City metro.
Megan Grigsby is described as a white female with brown hair and green eyes. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of three children or Megan Grigsby are asked to immediately call 911 or the Norman Police Department at 405-321-1444.
