As the summer season comes to an end, the Westwood Family Aquatic Center is adjusting the Open Swim schedule due to a lifeguard shortage as staff returns to school. Open Swim, Monday – Friday between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., will end this Friday, August 6th.

Visit on the weekends through September 5th.

Weekend Open Swim will now run from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays ending on September 5th. The last day for Open Swim is on Labor Day, Monday, September 6th, from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Day passes reduced to $5 for the remainder of the season.

Due to the lifeguard shortage and reduced hours at the Westwood Family Aquatic Center, the cost of day passes will be reduced to $5 for the remainder of the 2021 season and we may need to introduce slide closures and 10 minute safety breaks every 50 minutes to allow our lifeguards a break from the heat.

  • Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Lap Swim (August 7 - September 24)
  • Monday – Friday, 5:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.
  • Monday – Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
• Toddler Time (August 9- September 3)
  • Monday- Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Water Walking (August 7- September 24)
  • Monday- Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Aqua Zumba (August 6- September 24)
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:50 a.m.
• Aqua Fit (August 6- September 24)
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
