The City Auditor provides independent and objective audit, investigative, and advisory information and recommendations to City Council and City management in an effort to improve the City's operations and services provided to the public. 

The City auditor is appointed by and reports to the City Council. Among other responsibilities outlined in our Internal Audit Charter, the City Auditor evaluates management procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of operations, the safeguarding of resources, and the integrity of financial and management records and reports.
